CarrierSeq ECS kit

An expanded carrier screening kit for the Ion GeneStudio S5 system, bringing together library and template preparation, sequencing reagents and data analysis.

CarrierSeq ECS supports expanded carrier-screening research with genomic DNA obtained from blood or saliva. Its targeted sequencing panel covers 420 genes and detects sequence variants, small insertions/deletions and copy-number variants associated with 418 inherited disorders. The selected kit is configured for Ion 530 chips and three samples per chip on the Ion GeneStudio S5 workflow.
