Recruitment privacy
How application information is used, retained and protected.
Updated: 13 October 2026Application information
The careers form asks for your name, email address, a short introduction or motivation statement, and your CV or relevant supporting documents. Do not include identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. Receipt is confirmed only when an application confirmation and reference appear.
Purpose and legal grounds
Information provided for a vacancy is used to assess the application and communicate with the candidate, including steps toward an employment contract at the candidate’s request. Recruitment-related correspondence and the handling of complaints may also rely on a legitimate interest, subject to the candidate’s rights. Providing information is voluntary, but ABM needs relevant experience and contact details to assess and respond to an application.
How long application information is kept
For an application received by ABM, retention depends on the recruitment process, any resulting employment relationship, applicable legal obligations and the need to resolve recruitment-related complaints or claims. Application data must not be kept longer than needed for those purposes. A request to be considered for future opportunities is a separate purpose and is not implied by applying for one role. Contact [email protected] to ask about your application records or request deletion.
Access and your rights
For an active recruitment process, access should be limited to authorized hiring staff and applications should not be shared for unrelated purposes. This version uses no automated rejection or ranking. Request information, access, correction or erasure through [email protected]; the main privacy policy explains rights and complaints.
Contact
For questions, contact [email protected]. Do not send identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.
