KingFisher Flex automates magnetic-particle processing for purification of nucleic acids, proteins and cells. The platform supports different plate and magnetic-head configurations for different processing volumes and throughput. BindIt software provides protocol editing and instrument control. The manufacturer describes 24- and 96-sample configurations; the appropriate head, plates and kit must be selected for the intended workflow.
