MAGPIX is a compact fluorescence detection platform for multiplex immunoassays. It holds magnetic beads in place, illuminates them with LEDs and reads their signals using a CCD camera. The manufacturer describes analysis of up to fifty magnetic bead regions, with xPONENT software for acquisition and analysis.
