StepOne is the 48-well, three-colour member of the original StepOne real-time PCR family. Its LED-based optical system measures fluorescence during amplification, while software supports experiment setup, analysis and quality review. The touchscreen and USB interface support flexible operation. The 96-well block and four-colour optics belong to StepOnePlus, not this base model.
